Dr. Ibiene V.A. Ogolo is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of experience spanning across various sectors of business. She has a first degree in Computer Science, and Mathematics from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, 3 post-graduate degrees PGD, M.Sc. and PhD, obtained from different institutions in Europe.
She commenced her career initially in the Nigerian financial sector and has demonstrated a strong track record across the fields of commercial, and investment banking, Dr. Ogolo has held several leadership roles across operational, marketing & credit administration functions leading teams to deliver key initiatives.
Other areas of expertise include asset management, real estate management, public relations, business development, regulatory compliance, corporate services and management.
Leveraging on her investment, strategy and financial backgrounds, Dr. Ogolo was the Head of Public affairs for Greater Port Harcourt City Development Authority encapsulating media, investment promotions and community relations for one of the major real estate developments in Rivers State.
In 2013 she joined Eko Development Company as the Chief Responsibility Officer, where she was responsible for the development of one of the new prestigious landmarks aptly called “AZURI PENINSULA” situated in the Marina District of Eko Atlantic City, which upon completion will change the skyline of Lagos. A few weeks ago, the office tower within that project was launched by the Lagos State Governor and proudly stands as the tallest office building in Nigeria and West Africa today.
With her wealth of experience, Ibiene has successfully raised funds internationally and locally for projects. She is a pace setter, and award winner in many rights and was added to the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) list for class of 2018.
Dr Ogolo is currently the Co-Founder of V&R Partners Ltd, a leading Real Estate, Asset management and Consulting firm. She is also the Publisher of Ibiene.com an online Lifestyle guide founded on the premise of Education, Impact, Conservation, perseveration of Culture, our Environment and Humanity at large.
She seats on various Boards across various sectors of the economy which include Agriculture, Mining and Solid Minerals, Engineering and Asset Management.
